The Agentic BI Analyst
Spotonix thinks like your best analyst. It discovers existing analytical work, composes answers from proven building blocks, and learns with every question — so your business knowledge compounds across the entire organization.
The Gap
You've invested in the warehouse, the transformations, the dashboards. But when someone asks a question that isn't on a dashboard — the whole system breaks down.
of analyst time answering the same questions, differently
of your company actually uses the BI tools you bought
before your best analyst takes their knowledge to a competitor
Weeks to ship. Single-digit adoption. Rich semantic models that only the gatekeeper can access — everyone else works around them.
Each notebook defines its own business logic — islands of semantics. Metrics, KPIs, and segments can't be reused across analyses. When the author leaves, the knowledge leaves too.
Generates SQL from scratch every time. Can't explain how it interpreted "habitual buying." No composability — each query is an island. Semantics reduced to word embeddings.
Your analysts have spent years building business knowledge. Spotonix makes that knowledge discoverable, composable, and accessible to agents and humans alike.
How It Works
Organize knowledge as Segmentations, Calculations, and Business Analyses. Discover existing work before building new. Compose from proven building blocks.
Discovery, classification, and reasoning
A business question isn't a search query. "Stores," "losing," and "habitual buying customers" each carry different semantic weight. Spotonix resolves these against your company's vocabulary — through semantic search, pattern classification, and structural reasoning — not a generic model.
Known building blocks, not generated guesses
Text-to-SQL generates a query from scratch and hopes it's right. Spotonix does the opposite — it assembles the answer from verified Segmentations, Calculations, and Business Analyses that your team has already validated. Reuse what exists, build only what's missing.
Ambiguity surfaced, not hidden
Before executing, Spotonix presents its interpretation in business terms you can actually read. "Habitual buyers" could mean frequency-based, recency-based, or value-based. The system asks — you decide. No black-box guessing behind embeddings.
| Interpretation | Definition | Status |
|---|---|---|
| "Habitual buyers" | Customers, $500+ / quarter | ✓ chosen |
| "Losing" | QoQ decline in customer count | ✓ chosen |
| Business Analysis | Stores where QoQ % ↓ 0 | ✓ traced |
Every answer enriches the knowledge graph
Validated interpretations become reusable building blocks. New segmentations, calculations, and analyses join the graph permanently. The next question builds on what you've already proven.
Same analyst. Five questions. 3 Segmentations, 4 Calculations, 2 Business Analyses — all reusable.
Why Spotonix
Same question. Same answer. Every time.
Every answer is composed from verified building blocks, not generated from scratch. You see the interpretation in business terms before execution — approve it, or refine it. No black-box guessing.
One question, many beneficiaries.
One analyst answered one question. But the building blocks they created — the segmentations, calculations, and analyses — now serve everyone. Your business knowledge grows with every question.
Analysts leave. Knowledge stays.
Segmentations, calculations, business logic — it all lives in the knowledge graph, not in someone's head. Two years of understanding doesn't vanish with a resignation letter.
Your data. Your infrastructure. Your rules.
Runs inside your environment with your access controls. Row-level security, SSO, full audit trails. Enterprise governance is the architecture, not a bolt-on.

"Most analytics tools optimize for speed. Spotonix optimizes for institutional memory. That's an entirely different game."
"This is the first tool where the 100th question is actually easier than the 10th."
